Are VAT and delivery charges included in the price?

All prices listed in our store include VAT. For greater transparency, delivery charges are added separately at the end, as it depends on total weight of the order and destination.

How many modes of delivery are there?
If the shipping is international, we offer the International Shipping option, in 48-72 most countries. We will send an email with the status of your order ("In preparation", "Sent")

Can I change the mode of delivery after making the purchase?

No, because the preparation and delivery orders are executed in real time.

Will the transport company keep me updated regarding the delivery?

Yes. At Querida Carmen we want to make life easier. That is why if you provide us with your mobile number, we will send a text message telling you that your order has left our warehouse and will be delivered to you during the day.

What is the cost of home delivery?

The delivery cost depends on the total weight of the order and on the destination. Our delivery rates, including tax, are as follows:

A good way to minimize transportation costs is by making a minimum order of 4 items. With this amount, the transport is borne by Querida Carmen

We don't ship to PO Boxes.

What is the deadline?

Under normal conditions, and orders received before 20pm, the deadline will be 24 for Spain Peninsular and before 19 hours. For other destinations, the period is 24 to 48 hours on weekdays. During the weekend there are no deliveries.

Do you do international deliveries?

We ship all over Europe, and soon will be able to ship outside. These are the delivery rates, tax included.

Is there a limit to the number of Querida Carmen products I can buy?

How do you send the products?

All deliveries are adequately protected in cardboard boxes specifically designed to ensure that the product arrives in perfect condition.

What is the availability of the products?

In principle, all products in our shop are available, unless they are marked as 'not available' in the product details. Note that, due to its handmade nature, many of our products have a limited production. If a product is out of stock when you place your order and we cannot update this information at the store, we will contact you immediately to propose a similar product or reimburse the full amount.

Can I send my order as a gift?

Of course. Just select the option "Give Querida Carmen" at the final stage of purchase, before making payment. We can send the gift to your address or directly to the lucky person. In the latter case, you can write a personal message that we will print on a card, attached to the package. We invite you to visit the section "Give Querida Carmen" on our website, where you can find several ideas to make a good impression.

Where do you send your products from?

All our products are shipped from Barcelona (Spain)

Can I specify a delivery time?

No. Therefore we recommend you specify an address, for example work or a neighbour, where someone is available to receive the package.

What is the timetable for the delivery of packages?

The delivery schedule is Monday to Friday from 8am to 7pm.

What happens if I am absent when the package is delivered?

If the carrier tried to deliver the package and there was nobody to receive it, they will leave you a note stating the delivery attempt. Please contact the shipping agent as soon as possible on the phone number you'll find in the note, in order to arrange a new delivery.
If during this second delivery there was no one to receive it, you will be left a note indicating a second delivery attempt. Thereafter, your order will remain in the transport company office for 15 days.
After this period, your order will be returned to our warehouse.

What happens if a product has arrived damaged?

If one or more products have arrived damaged because of transportation, we'll send a new product. Querida Carmen bears all extra delivery costs that may arise, provided that the product has not been used, altered or manipulated.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it no later than 7 working days from receipt of the delivery, clearly indicating the problem or the reason for return and attaching a photograph of the damaged product. Please keep in mind that for us to process any exchange or refund it is essential that you have prior contact with us. NOTE: It is important that you verify the status of your purchase at the time of receipt, and that if you observe any damage allegedly caused by transport, you indicate this on the delivery note upon signing it.

What happens if the contents of the package are incorrect?

If one or more goods received do not correspond to your order, we will send you the right products or we will refund the corresponding amount on your credit card. Querida Carmen bears all extra delivery costs that may arise, provided that the product has not been used, altered or manipulated.

Can I return a product if I am unhappy?

Yes. If for any reason, other than those already stated, you are not satisfied, you can return a product. In this case, after receiving the merchandise in its original packaging and in perfect condition, we will proceed to refund the corresponding amount on your credit card. However, note that the delivery costs of the return will be covered by you. Similarly, you should include a copy of the same delivery note inside the packaging.

There will be no exchange or refund for those products which are not in the same conditions in which they were received, or have been used beyond simply opening the product

What happens if I'm not satisfied for any other reason?

Within the shortest possible time we will contact you to find a satisfactory solution and tell you what steps to follow.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes. If your order has not yet been sent, we will refund the total amount.

If it has already been sent, you must return your order. In this case, after receiving the merchandise in its original packaging and in perfect condition, we will proceed to refund the corresponding amount on your credit card. However, note that the delivery costs of the return will be covered by you. The deadline to cancel an order is 7 working days from receipt.

Is it safe to pay by card?

Querida Carmen will ensure maximum security and confidentiality when shopping in our store. In a similar manner in which you carry out a transaction at an ATM, when shopping at Querida Carmen the data on your credit card are encrypted using the SSL security protocol and transmitted directly to the financial institution concerned, which then accepts or rejects the payment. Thus, the information transmitted over the internet is totally secure and Querida Carmen never retains this data, so it cannot be seen or stored.

How are my personal details dealt with?

Querida Carmen respects your right to privacy: We will only use your personal information to provide a better service. Under no circumstances do we sell it or share it with third parties. You can access them, correct or cancel them at any time.
